2015 – The power from the West
The MAT Holdings Group, an American multi-national, purchased Serta, allowing it to expand its international reach, to better adapt to growing demand in the hydraulic cylinder market.
Année 2000 – The family grows
In order to reinforce our international presence, Serta purchased Pneumatika (in Bulgaria) and created Pneumatika SERTA in 2003. Then it opened a commercial office in Shanghai (China) in 2011 and one in Dresden (Germany) in 2015. Serta entered a phase of acceleration in industrial performance (SMED, 5S, lean, etc.)
Années 90 – The call of the sea
The French market was no longer enough to satisfy the Vendee Group, which set its sights on the international market with customers in Germany, the USA, etc.
Années 80 – Hydraulic power
In a rapidly changing agricultural sector, hydraulic power was needed! It was no longer a question of just satisfying customer needs but also of anticipating then by working further upstream with the manufacturers. It was also time to share our know-how with other industrial sectors: Building, materials handling.
1977 – The creative route
The creation of a design office allowed Serta to confirm its vocation as a designer of hydraulic cylinders. As well as manufacturing, it could now invent and offer “custom” solutions
Juin 1971 – When the tree takes root
Serta (Design and Implementation Company for Applied Techniques), was created by Jacques Audureau to meet the needs of the family business. A manufacturer of farm equipment, the company quickly developed alongside other companies in the market.
